Dubai has chosen Fime to ensure seamless interoperability of its unified smart ticketing scheme.

Fime has been chosen by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to support the growth and expansion of its Nol Card unified transportation network. Fime provides third-party test authority services and test lab management on behalf of RTA. As such, it ensures the independent integration, interoperability and certification testing to operators participating in the scheme.

This network enables the public to access all urban transportation, make payments and redeem loyalty points with a contactless smartcard. FIME is enabling stakeholders to successfully define, design, develop, validate, and launch new products and services while ensuring the continuation of today’s frictionless ticketing experience. Transport operators, system integrators, solution providers, card and terminal manufacturers, banks and any other entity joining the Nol scheme can now streamline their integration into Dubai’s smart city initiative.
