With mDL Application Test Suite, you can test your mDL holder application implementation by simulating an mDL reader to test compliance to ISO 18013-5, Personal  identification — ISO-compliant driving licence — Part 5: Mobile driving licence (mDL) application, using the ISO 18013-6 test specification.

The mDL Application Test Suite will be kept compliant to the latest (draft) version of ISO/IEC 18013-6. The test suite also allows you to validate that the mDL holder application has been personalized correctly.

How it works.

mDL Application Test Suite reuses the transport layer capabilities of any Android 10 handset to engage with and test the transfer of mDL credentials from the device  containing the mDL application to the test suite.
