This gap particularly impacts iPhone users who do not have seamless access to NFC-based transit payments, highlighting the urgent need for broader compatibility with popular platforms such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Addressing this compatibility issue could significantly enhance user convenience, foster greater adoption of mobile ticketing solutions, and align Taiwan’s transit system with global digital payment trends.
